Mechanical & Electrostatic Cleaners
The mechanical series of modular purifiers are designed to be used as a filtration system in centralized installations for the removal of welding fumes. These purifiers utilise mechanical filtration in two sections that can be combined according to the characteristics of the pollutant to treat. The structure comprises die-cast aluminium section bars supporting a sheet metal double wall. The precoated outer wall and the galvanised inner wall are separated by 25 mm of high density mineral wool.
Several modules of the mechanical cleaners are available:
Pocket modules complete with pleated synthetic prefilter and pockets; 95% efficiency (ASRHAE)
Large-size activated carbon modulesActivated carbon modules with pockets.
The standard version is 400V 3P 50Hz 4-poles (1,400 RPM).
A wall-mounted range of mechanical cleaners is also available, used particularly for extracting and filtering fumes produced by sporadic welding or spot-welding operations.
These cleaners comprise:
An electric fan with a forward-blade impeller complete with wall bracket (standard three-phase version)
A sturdy plenum connector between the fan and the filtering section
Filtering system containing fabric and activated carbon filters
A self-supporting articulated arm (where required)
Alternately, a range of electrostatic modular cleaners is also available. These cleaners have been designed to be incorporated as a filtering system in extraction circuits, and are available in two versions to filter both welding fumes and oil mists. Both models can also be supplied complete with axial fans.
