Heavy Equipment System - Discharge System
Once activated either through automatic detection/actuation, or via a remote manual actuator, the Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) is dispensed through ¼" BSP (M) standard brass nozzles strategically positioned at a discharge rate of 3.1 litres per minute.
Discharge System Features:
. Either flame resistant hose that meets the requirements of SAE 100R1AT and flame resistance designation US MSHA1C-152/1 and LOBA (note: this hose is designed for continuous operation in temperatures from -40°C to +125°C) or 12.7mm stainless steel tubing for areas where intense fire exposure may be experienced. Note that the tubing can be shaped to suit the working environment.
. Robust construction and designed to operate in demanding environments
Nozzles and Fittings Features:
. Nominal 60 degree spray angle
. Range of up to 1.0 metre
. Spray diameter of up to 1.15 metres
. Re-useable brass nozzle caps provided as standard to prevent blockage due to dust, pest or foreign matter infiltration
. Lanyard to prevent cap loss
