Light Equipment System - Typical Applications
The LES system incorporates a simple fixed discharge system connected to two remote manual actuators.
On detection of fire, the driver simply strikes either one of two (2) remote manual actuators to activate and discharge the system. The discharge system incorporates 10mm main delivery tubing, 6mm branch lines and 4 brass discharge nozzles complete with blow-off caps designed to stop contamination of the nozzle whilst not in use.
The remote manual actuators feature a carbon dioxide actuator similar to that used under the more comprehensive heavy equipment foam fire suppression system.
Note that whilst the standard LES system incorporates remote actuation only, automatic detection/actuation is available upon request.
